Our Journey
We started ArtMatch with a strong desire to support aspiring and early stage art collectors enhance their homes (and lives) with art. We found that many would-be collectors lacked the time and knowledge to engage with art at the appropriate level, which is understandable because people are busy and art collecting isn't something most of us learn about in school. Our journey, which began in Atlanta, led us to New York City, where we have been based since 2022.
Meet the Team
Anthony Roberts is the Owner / CEO of ArtMatch. He's an alum of Bain & Company, where he worked with management teams to solve their most pressing problems. Growing up, he was a lead singer in the Richmond Boys Choir, where he performed alongside Wynton Marsalis, James Earl Jones, the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and the Boys Choir of Harlem. Anthony holds a B.A. in Economics from Morehouse College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a M.B.A. from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. In 2022, he completed the Art Business Course at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.
Olivia Roberts is a Senior Interior Designer who specializes in luxury residential spaces. With a refined eye and expert grasp of spatial harmony, Olivia elevates interiors through thoughtful design and curated details. She is passionate about creating meaningful environments, and draws on her multicultural experiences to honor and reflect the unique identities of those she designs for.
Alexandra Nelson is the Special Assistant to the Owner. Her previous experience includes gallery operations, curatorial work, archival research, and collection management. She is passionate about building inclusive art ecosystems. Alexandra holds a BA in Art History and minors in Spanish and Curatorial Studies from Spelman College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
